Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance

By submitting a journey application or making a booking with Kailash Gateway (Hare Krishna Holidays), you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

2. Application & Acceptance

Submitting an application does not guarantee placement. All applications are reviewed by His Grace Patri Das. A confirmed booking only exists once you have received written confirmation and paid the required deposit. We reserve the right to decline any application without providing a reason.

3. Payments

• A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place.
• The balance is due 60 days before the departure date.
• Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking without refund of deposit.
• All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated. Currency conversion charges are the responsibility of the participant.

4. Health & Physical Fitness

Participants must be in good physical health and capable of trekking at high altitude. By booking, you confirm you have consulted a medical professional and are fit to participate. Kailash Gateway accepts no liability for health complications arising from undisclosed medical conditions.

5. Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance including emergency medical evacuation is mandatory for all participants. Proof of insurance must be provided before departure.

6. Itinerary Changes

Kailash Gateway reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather, political conditions, government regulations, or force majeure events. Where changes are significant, alternatives of equivalent value will be offered where possible.

7. Liability

Kailash Gateway acts as a facilitator. We are not liable for injury, death, loss, or damage arising from participation in the journey, including but not limited to altitude sickness, accidents, or natural events. Participation is entirely at your own risk.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
